Our wilderness values and principles facilitate a transformational experience for you...

... where you embark on your journey of nature connection, nature conservation and personal development, becoming empowered, learning how to reach your full potential.

Principles

1.  You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink, you can only make it thirsty.

2.  Our principles and actions are dictated by the laws of nature.

3.  We believe in each other, want the best for each other and expect the best from one another.

4.  Your best friends are the ones that hold you accountable.

5.  Taking ownership for your own life is the starting point for evolvement.

6.  Responsibility is taken, not given. That means the more responsibility you’re willing to take, the greater your reward will be.

Wilderness Values

We are committed to growing and evolving as a person, living consciously and achieving our goals. So we reflect on our personal development daily and face challenges with a positive and motivated mindset.

We take responsibility for our actions and circumstances. We encourage our community partners to practice their leadership skills everyday.

If we see something needs doing, we take responsibility and get it done, even if  we already have other plans, it’s our day off, or we don’t fully know how to do it.

We are fully responsible and accountable for our actions, as our fellow community partners are responsible for themselves. That’s why we can hold each other accountable for our actions.

We know that facing and overcoming challenges, by trying something new or facing old fears, is a sure trail to personal development.

Facing every situation with positivity makes it much more enjoyable. Also it makes us more open to finding a solution and it facilitates teamwork.

We don’t focus on the problem, but on how to solve it and create a positive outcome for everyone involved.

Nature connection deepens connection to self. We strive to connect with our environment deeply to become more conscious of ourselves and our environment. This leads to personal and spiritual growth.

We depend on our natural environment. Therefore we have the responsibility to look after it, not only for ourselves, but for future generations as well.

We are committed to our personal and professional growth, each individual task and the community culture.

We have compassion for other people, animals and our environment. This leads us to act consciously of the impact we have on those around us.

We strive to actively contribute to our environment by acting for the good of all.

We strive to create partnerships with each other for the purpose of spiritual growth. Spiritual growth means reflecting on ourselves deeply and recognizing the frightened and loving parts of our personality. By doing this we cultivate consciousness, love, and authentic power.

We believe appreciation is a key value for living a conscious and fulfilled life. That’s why we take the time daily to reflect on what we are appreciative for and cultivate positivity and motivation by doing so.
