Our Partner Organizations

Trails to Empowerment is a community with our partner organizations that facilitate your transformational journey. Each of our partners have our Six Principle philosophy of Nature Connection, Personal Development, Nature Conservation, Empowerment, Self-Sufficiency and Conscious and Aware as their focus. But each partner facilitates these Six Principles in a different way. Meet our partners below and see who you connect most deeply with to begin your wilderness journey!

The Chilcotin Ark Institute is committed to creating and managing a working landscape doing participatory action research, and facilitating and executing research projects. Each conservation project is an opportunity to become a wilderness steward, learn new skills and deepen your connection with nature. All our volunteering positions, online conservation and online marketing opportuntities are facilitated by the Chilcotin Ark Institute.

Wilderness Trails facilitates your connection with nature, stewardship of the wilderness and personal empowerment through conservation trips including wildlife tracking and conservation horse trips, guide training, log cabin building, entrepreneurship training, English immersion, hiking, mountain biking, fishing and much more! All our training programs, entrepreneur program and guest trips are facilitated by Wilderness Trails.

Bridge River Valley Accommodation (BRVA) facilitates your nature connection through ranch and wilderness based camping and cabin rental options. Each journey is an opportunity to learn new wilderness skills and get involved in conservation of the area you are visiting. Whether it’s your first time in the wilderness or you’re an experienced back-country user, BRVA has the style of accommodation for you.

The Wilderness Training Academy offers a wide variety of online courses that lead you through a process of self discovery from interest development to identify goals, to defining how to live life with a purpose. You’ll learn new ways to connect with nature, enhance your skills and mindset to experience personal development and learn how to become a wilderness steward. All of our online training programs are facilitated by the Wilderness Training Academy.

Our small scale woodlot, Woodlot 366 is a carbon storage solution. Using select logging, the forest is maintained for wildlife habitat, biodiversity and carbon storage. Horse logging on steep and hard to reach areas reduces the impact on the environment.

Community Mill is our sawmill which cuts the logs harvested on Woodlot 366 into lumber, timber and beams as well as unique individual pieces such as live-edge boards. These products can be used by the ranch community or sold to the public creating a sustainable building material with a long product life. By products from the mill such as sawdust are made into compost for vegetable gardens so nothing is wasted.

Fortress Press is a publishing company that specializes in local interest, rural history and personal development books. Unlike a traditional publisher, the author is in control of the full process. Fortress Press was created through our Entrepreneur Program
